   The inspection of melt blown cloth is divided into the following three items:

 (1) Appearance quality inspection: fabric appearance, holes, impurities, peculiar smell, micro-holes, crystal points, frit, rigid wire, unreinforced area, thin net, width deviation, color difference, joint quality.

 (2) Intrinsic quality testing: mass deviation per unit area, longitudinal breaking strength, transverse breaking strength, vertical and horizontal breaking elongation, hydrostatic pressure, air permeability.

 (3) Detection of microbial indicators: total number of bacterial colonies, total number of fungal colonies, coliforms, and pathogenic pyogenic bacteria.

    In addition, with reference to the above mask testing standards, companies must also conduct particle filtration efficiency testing, bacterial filtration efficiency testing, ventilation resistance and pressure difference testing, airflow resistance and respiratory resistance testing on melt blown cloth.
