Fogging Tester
-Wide range and high precision of temperature control device to support the combinations of non-standard test conditions
-6 test stations can perform specimen test or blank test simultaneously
-Ensures accurate and reliable test data through stable running condition
-Controlled by microcomputer, with LED digital display screen and PVC operation panel, which is convenient for users to quickly and intuitively view the inspection data and results
-Support multi-method testing to achieve multiple testing requirements
Test Principles
The preconditioned specimen is heated and evaporates in the beaker; the volatile constituents condense on the glass plate or aluminum foil treated in cooling chamber. Take off the glass plate or aluminum foil when the condensation process is finished. The fogging characteristics could be obtained by measuring condensed constituent weight and fogging value on the glass plate or aluminum foil and comparing with the data before condensation process.
Measurement method
Gloss method: The gas vaporized by the sample being heated in the fogging cup is condensed on the low-temperature glass plate. By comparing and calculating the gloss value of the glass plate before and after condensation, the fogging value of the sample can be obtained. (Standard configuration)
Haze method: The gas evaporated from the sample heated in the fogging cup is condensed on the low-temperature glass plate. By comparing and calculating the haze value before and after the glass plate is condensed, the fogging value of the sample can be obtained. (Optional)
Gravimetric method: The gas vaporized by the sample being heated in the fogging cup is condensed on the low-temperature aluminum foil. By weighing the weight change before and after the aluminum foil is condensed, the weight of the sample atomization-condensation can be obtained. (Standard configuration, balance purchased separately)
Product Structure:
It is mainly composed of a high temperature constant temperature bath, a low temperature constant temperature bath, a cooling plate, a fogging cup, a fogging glass plate, a measuring meter, a sampler and accessories, which can complete the test process of sampling, heating, condensation, and testing.
Steps:
Prepare the sample → open the high and low temperature bath and reach the set temperature → clean the fogging cup and the fogging glass plate → place the sample → place the fogging glass plate or aluminum foil → place the cooling chamber → keep the set temperature and normal in the two tanks Run to the required time for the test → remove the glass plate or aluminum foil, and place it for the specified time → measure the gloss, haze or weight of the aluminum foil of the glass plate → compare the data and get the final result
